What is a protector?
Protectors are mythical creatures humans believed were sent by the gods above for “Protection”. Some going as far as fitting them into cultural beliefs and religions. These mythical creatures were often seen with super-natural abilities, and fulfilling human beliefs. Unfortunately, much like humans, they have a mind of their own. What is a corruptor?
Corruptors are protectors who fell down a path of evil. There are multiple causes to this. Research shows protectors who have abilities with dark, shadows, manipulation, hallucinations, and similar are the most common to become corrupt. Reasons for this commonality is unknown. Corrupt protectors can be as dangerous as a criminal stealing a candy bar, to a super-natural killer capable of severe destruction. The highest theory currently is their abilities took over their own mind.

What happened to the protectors and corruptors?
Upon first reports on the news, humans thought nothing. They believed the protector was “Flawed” or “Untrue to its origins”. In [REDACTED] reports flooded the news. From killings, to disastrous events. We took matters in our own hands and began containing the creatures. In [REDACTED] several decades later, over half of the species disappeared.
